If there is any group of people that are more excited about the next gen consoles than gamers, it's the pirates. The PS4 has been jailbroken meaning not only will the PlayStation 4 be able to play pirated games but you can virtually do whatever you want with it. They have root access meaning a customizable UI, menu and so much more.
A hacker known as Reckz0r uploaded a PasteBin file that clearly explains the step-by-step process to fully open up your console. Now, Reckz0r doesn't take full credit for this. In fact, he credits a Brazilian hacking forum for finding the exploit, he merely provided the instructions.

After Reckz0r went public with his exploit, a few people claimed success with it. Of course, minutes later Sony caught on and had this conversation with the hacker. Which he later shared publicly.
PlayStation misspelled the word "scenario" – I had to point that out. Now, pirated games are pretty big in our region. For as long as I can remember, every country I've visited in the Middle East was heavily reliant on pirated games. Now, of course, Sony will eventually crack down on this and remove the exploit but just as it has always been, the pirates will come up with another method. It will be a never ending cat and mouse game.
