Need some help with Mw2 PC

Attachment 29363When ever I go into a lobby the text that says "_____ has connected, has now appeared in the middle of my screen. Instead of the bottom left hand corner. it also does not go away. Can someone help me I already un-installed mw2 and re-installed it That did not help. I also tried using a different version of "Mw2 Liberation" but that did not help either. Could it be a Steam thing? if someone knows the answer, please let me know. i also included a picture of it
