Two years ago.. Picture that in your head. For most of you it was your first years of high school. I'll tell you how mine went, I was 16 or so. I literally was so damn lazy. I hated myself, I always wanted to change. Doesn't everyone want to change to be something great? So I started to try, I hit the gym everyday. I quit smoking weed, got my shit together by doing better in school, got a job and got a girlfriend I'm still dating to this day. Life was pretty much going great, except one day I woke up. This "perfect life" wasn't so perfect, I realized I changed to something better, but someone I didn't like. That has still kept me going to this day. I keep searching for the perfect me I know I'll never find. But hell, I'm going to try to find him. I read motivational essays for about an hour a day. Things to make you happy. I feel better now. It helps me, some people drink, motivational speeches help me be happy. I wish I knew why, but I don't. I live by several rules. 1.) Give back to the people. If you aren't making someones life better, you're wasting your time. Quote from Arnold. 2.) Make your hero yourself in ten years. Really thought this was corny, Matthew Mcconaughey said that. But think about it, chase yourself chase who you picture you'll be in ten years. 3.) Wake up everyday and look in the mirror and think "If i died today, would I have lived the life I wanted?" not exact words, but steve jobs said that.
4.) Find what you love to do for you career, first find your passion job, then worry about the money. You'll be much happier. 5.) Find someone to make your life better. Surround yourself with positive people. 6.) Don't sleep so much. 1/3 of your life is spent sleeping. When you're on your death bed, think of all the regrets you'll have. You'll look back I shouldn't have slept so much.
Sorry about this being off-topic and shitty. I was in a hurry.
