Firmware Question Advice on getting online with CFW

Right so basically I've just gotten a ps3 on 3.55 cos I miss the good old days of Challenge lobbys and stuff like that on mw2,mw3 and black ops. Sounds stupid but I want to go back and relive them :magg:

Ive got 2 ps3s. one on the latest firmware and one on 3.55 ofw.

Is there still a way to data transfer patches? to get online on my most updated firmware?
