I've said this a few times while I was staff in the Modbox.
1 - Background image doesn't fit the page.
1.1 - Maybe change of background to a different/ more current game.
2 - Update the image of the Xbox 360/PS3/ect with more up to date consoles/PSN/XBL cards. Maybe have the older gen with the new gen of consoles too as Elite isn't just for old gen anymore.
3 - Extra forum perks. Get rid of the ones that aren't around anymore such as Elite postbit background/Cometchat/Vbux/ect..
4 - Even overhaul it all with a new design? Could go one better and host a competition on the forums to see who can come up with the best design ideas. Whoever wins gets X amount of rep/ 3 months elite/PSN/XBL code?
