Who says testers just want to have fun? Prepare to be entertained by the reactions of these testers playing The Evil Within, a Bethesda Softworks title coming to Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, Xbox One, and PC in Halloween 2014 (hopefully). It's video game horror and tension in their purest form!
Some call Shinji Mikami the father of survival horror, and that's because he's the video game designer (and director) behind the Resident Evil series. Isn't that reason enough? Especially considering he was involved in all RE games before Resident Evil 5, which is when things started getting "questionable" for longtime survival horror fans!
Well, Shinji Mikami ended up funding his own game studio, Tango Gameworks, so that he could delve back into what he enjoys most, the survival horror genre. He has this new video game in the works, The Evil Within, and it looks like it's a crazy one!
If you didn't know about the story yet, well... it's about a detective and a mass murder investigation gone wrong: a mysterious, evil force ends the lives of his fellow police officers, and before he has time to react, he ends up submerged right into his worst nightmare, surrounded by evil of all sorts.

The developers are hard at work to deliver the AAA experience survival horror gamers have been waiting for. Detailed, horrifying environments, an engrossing storyline, and involved gameplay.
