Is it safe to mod common.rpf?

Hello

I want to install a first person mod and perhaps maybe later a better handling mod. Will I get banned if I play online with this? Will R* pick it up?

The first person mod makes changes to the file vehicle.meta in the common.rpf file. and the better handling mod affects handling.dat which is also in the common.rpf
