So my Vista laptop has finally bit the dust, and wont even turn on past the initial windows screen (whether in safe mode, or system recovery or any option from holding f8 or anything).
I heard I can transfer the data from the hdd (assuming it is still intact) to my other computer, which I could really do with doing as it has music and videos on as well photos...
I don't really know anything about computers, but have been told that i need to use a USB adaptor to get it off... can someone point me in the right direction of what i'm looking for please? I am assuming it is a SATA (if not, how do I check...:embarrassed:)
