Need Update Help With Firmware

I just bought a Dex PS3 right now its on 4.50 spoofed to 4.60 and whenever I try to load a game it gives me the 80010017 Error what I need to know is what do I need to do to update everything? Being new to all this I don't want to do anything wrong. I paid someone to help me do everything remotely but asshole claims he never got the money even though I know he did. Is there a way someone can remote into the ps3 and make sure everything is working right? I really only play gta5 and gt6 and those two games are not installed. I am looking for someone to walk me through it once. I have watched so many videos its crazy, and even tried installing gta5 myself via usb but no luck. I will pay good if someone helps me get this thing going. And just my luck when I was hooking up this new ps3 my old one tipped over and now it will not display to the tv via hdmi, or AV cables so its gone and this is the only route I have.
