Slow death of 3D tv ESPN drops 3D

Was 3D nothing more than a dream a small stone to line the pockets of TV makers?
Disney ESPN in the USA is dropping it 3D channel by the end of the year no word on if others are to follow.

My view should have never been released just give us super HD!
